The project is at a pivotal location in the vibrant downtown village of “Little Italy” near the waterfront of the bay. The project involves two sites and a conversion of the separating street into a significant public plaza. The north site “VICI” is an 8-story project with 97 dwelling units and a ground floor dedicated entirely for 14,720 SF of commercial use.
The south site “AMO” is planned with 28 dwelling units and 7,900 SF of commercial space. The design is a natural response to the context with stepped massing to respect the pedestrian character of the main street, bay windows to respond to the views and an industrial expression that reflects the history of the community as working fishing village.
