Situated within Anaheim’s newly developing Platinum Triangle and in the nexus of popular cultural institutions such as Angel Stadium, the Honda Center, Disneyland and the ARTIC transportation hub, this four-story, multi-family project responds with an urbane architecture befitting of its context. Large scale forms are featured throughout, with composite windows and balconies combined into architectural elements with the use of extended canopies. With over 500 ft. of massing along each of its major street frontages and relatively shallow building articulation, the use of material breaks was critical in achieving a nuanced and textured contemporary project at a human scale.
On the ground floor, the project’s 9,200 SF double height leasing/clubroom feels like an airy gallery space, flowing out onto the resort pool deck. The pool deck itself blends seamlessly into the adjacent public park, extending the sense of open recreational space. Front stoops on all sides, a dog park, and a pedestrian-friendly street edge further promote community and connectivity to the increasingly lively urban fabric.
