Serving the combined markets of Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Malaysia and Singapore, this project combines innovative design ideas for value retail and outdoor air centers into a cost-effective and shopper-friendly experience. This phased project will contain over 160 value retail tenants in 300,000 SF (27,870 m2) of leasable building area. In this humid and often rainy location, the environmental control qualities of an indoor mall were desired but not affordable due to initial construction and ongoing operational costs. Through a combination of micro-climate modification techniques this open-air center will shop with convenience and comfort in adverse weather. These techniques combined with a contemporized Mediterranean Architectural vocabulary create a unique value retail destination.
