At the intersection of Maple Avenue and Adams Boulevard in Historic South-Central, an automobile repair shop has made way for new multifamily housing from a Beverly Hills-based development firm. After securing permits in October 2023, Markwood has commenced site preparation for a new 84-unit apartment complex which will rise at 400 E. Adams Boulevard. Plans call for a mix of studio and one-bedroom dwellings above parking for 42 vehicles.

Greystar Real Estate Partners has broken ground on a new apartment community, City North Residential Phase II, in Phoenix, Arizona, US. At its meeting on October 26, the Los Angeles City Planning Commission voted to reject two appeals which sought to block the construction of District at Warner Center, a mixed-use complex proposed by Kaplan Companies.
