March 1, 2018 | Construction Update on 1003 E. 4th Place mixed-use project!
This new development Is located in the LA Arts District at 4th and Mateo. It includes ground level retail and restaurant space with six tiers of structured parking above, and two levels of office space above that for a total built area of 123,000 sf. The building was designed to fit in with the adjacent industrial / office buildings, but with a contemporary twist. “The Arts district is a hip new environment in Downtown with its own unique character and strives to be sympathetic to the neighborhood while providing a modern new-build retail and office environment”, says AO Principal in Charge, Bruce Greenfield. The office space will have walls of glass with prime views of downtown Los Angeles, and large outdoor patios for occupants use. The project is a combination of concrete masonry and steel frame construction and is part of the adjacent complex of buildings being converted to office use.
The project is anticipated to be completed in late 2018.
